The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI–VIII), secondary level (classes IX–X), and senior secondary level (classes XI–XII). The B.Ed. Division administers the program.
The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program offered by SGT University’s Faculty of Education is designed to prepare students for a career in teaching. This two-year, full-time program spans four semesters and admits 100 students annually. Eligibility requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Social Sciences, or Humanities with at least 55% marks, or an Engineering degree with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 65% marks. Reserved category candidates receive a 5% relaxation in the minimum required score.
