Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was established in 1999 by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), which runs a host of educational institutes and carries out numerous religious and social activities. GTBIT is a degree-level technical institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The Computer Science Department is the most versatile department of the college and caters to the needs of other departments as well. This department has got 450 Computers to the latest i7(intel core processor) configuration. The Department covers basic Sciences and Engineering subjects at the first year level. In the 2nd and 3rd year the core courses in Computer Science and Engineering such as Data Structure, Discrete Mathematics, Programming in JAVA, DBMS, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Design and Analysis of Algorithm and Data Mining are offerd. In the final year advanced courses of Computer Engineering like Data Science, Machine Learning, Object Oriented Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, Web Intelligence and Big Data are offered.

This department has Computer Labs in the form of state-of-the-art IBM computers, with the latest software’s and internet facilities. Student computer ratio is 1:1.
